2020 Registration

There are two types of applicants for the 2020 NZIYAF: Young Artists and Rising Stars. Applicants will be notified of their registration type after their application has been accepted. Please see the information below for more details.

Young Artists

Young Artists are students who have completed Grade 8 and above or equivalent and may participate in the Solo Piano Programme, String Programme, or Chamber Music Programme.

Rising Stars

Rising Stars are beginner and intermediate students, who have not completed Grade 8.  You will have the chance to partake in music competition and  masterclasses , as well as perform in public and observe concerts during the Festival in Wellington.
